IGNITION INTERLOCK LICENSE
You can receive an Ignition Interlock License for any violation – first offense, subsequent offense, refusal to submit to a blood or breath test, or a DWI conviction in court. You must install an approved ignition interlock device in any vehicle you will be driving. These devices are available from several suppliers. You must pay a $45.00 license fee to MVD, and you must pay an installation fee and a monthly rental fee with the installer. You must sign a MVD affidavit stating that you understand the conditions of the Ignition Interlock License. You can drive anywhere at any time with this license.
